To assist students to fit in the global corporate culture, the institute lays special emphasis on personality grooming through presentations, public speaking, mock interviews, aptitude tests and industry interactions. This helps the students to develop capacity for analysis and judgment, ability to relate to managerial problems and draw upon their own resources for better understanding and meaningful action.
Seminars, Conferences and Workshops
Committed in its endeavour to bridging the academia - industry gap, the Institute regularly organizes guest lectures, workshops and seminars. The topics for guest lectures range from "Emerging trends in telecom industry" by Mr. Sanjeev Sharan, Circle Head-HR, Reliance Communications, Rajasthan to Integration of technology, Entrepreneurship and Marketing by Mr. Nilesh Gupta, Marketing Strategist & Consultant.
The Institute organized a Seminar on "Entrepreneurship" with an aim to make the students aware about the basics of entrepreneurship and future of an Entrepreneur. The main speakers were Mr. R.K. Poddar, Chairman, Mayur Leathers, Mr. Akhilesh Sharma, CEO, A3 Logics, Mr. Akshat Ghiya, CEO, Glazetech Alupanels Pvt. Ltd.
This newly set up cell in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) & Rajasthan Institute of Cooperatives Management, aims at encouraging management students to turn entrepreneurs as well as develop an entrepreneurial way of thinking and managing. Besides various entrepreneurial activities organized by the E-cell, the students of the Institute have started a Student Cooperative Consumers Society which will act as a laboratory for Entrepreneurship.
The students of the Institute are managing three departmental associations namely Finance Association, Marketing Association and Talent Association to disseminate knowledge in the specialized areas of interest. These associations organize various events like Debates, Workshops, Paper Presentation, and Seminars etc to deliver hands on experience to member students of these associations about how to organize an event and foster team spirit while working in a group.
Verve: Cultural and Management Fest
To give vent to the innate talent in the students, the Institute organizes an annual cultural and Management fest called VERVE. The Fest aims at promoting cultural harmony among students by way of number of innovative and competitive events, which tests the mental ability, logical thinking, spontaneity and knowledge of the participants.
