‘SMRITI’ Alumni Meet - 2012

On the evening of 29th January 2012 Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS Jaipur) organized ‘SMRITI’ Alumni Meet-2012 for all the previous batches of JIMS Jaipur right from its inception. Besides being a co-curricular activity, the purpose of the Alumni Meet was to reunite all the batches, enhance interaction & bonding of alumni with the current students & faculties and to recollect old memories.

The programme started at 4:30 pm in the evening with a welcome address by Dr Ravi Sharma (Director). It was followed by introduction of the alumni in different rounds. Junior students performed on various musical numbers. Games like “Pass the Loop”, “JIMS Jewllery Show 2K12” were also kept to make the programme more interactive & entertaining. These activities were followed by briefing from Dr Mayank Agarwal (Associate Professor) for the Alumni Club President, Secretary and Treasurer and about their respective duties & responsibilities. After taking nominations for these positions, alumni voted amongst all those who nominated. Later on prizes were distributed to those who stand out as winners in games. Election results were announced where Mr Pradeep Indoria (Alumni PGDM 2007-09 Batch) was elected as the President, Ms Shweta Sharma (Alumni PGDM 2008-10 Batch) as the Secretary and Mr Vikas Kumar Shaw (Alumni PGDM 2009-11 Batch) as the Treasurer of the JIMS Jaipur Alumni Club. After ‘Oath taking ceremony’, they were congratulated by Dr Ravi Sharma and received award from him. Later on, Mr Manish Saxena Head- CRMC and the Coordinator of the programme thanked all the alumni & other invitee for making the event memorable & successful. After having delicious dinner students enjoyed the DJ party.

Alumni thanked the institute for organizing this event gracefully and making it memorable for them and showed their interest in delivering guest lectures, guiding current students & in placements.
