Marketing Club at JIMS provides a platform to students to enhance their understanding to marketing issues, explore career opportunities in the field and stimulate interaction among students and corporates. In the past years club has organized variety of event such as ad contests, brand quizzes, brand launch, selling activities and Digital marketing workshops to encourage student’s interest in the field of marketing. It serves to develop the appropriate business acumen of students, create learning opportunities and foster connections with alumni and recruiters.
A student driven initiative that collaborates corporate and academical Finance Club is for students who want to excel in the field of finance and aim for a platform to gain financial knowledge. The club acts as an interface between the student community and the financial world, viz. The financial institutions, regulatory bodies, corporates and academicians. The club aims to develop interest of the students in the area of finance, enhance financial awareness, increase analytical and critical thinking skills and provide a comprehensive understanding of the finance industry including job profiles and skill-set skill required. Club regularly organizes various activities competitions, simulation games, guest lectures and workshops to provide insight on various aspects of finance.
“Cultural Club of JIMS organizes cultural and social activities for students and staff members at JIMS. These event boost skills of leadership, team work and event management among the students. Events include Talent Hunt, Fresher’s Welcome, Roadies, Independence-Day Celebration, Dandiya Night, Fun Quiz, Verve-Annual Cultural Fest, Holi Mela, Farewell evening and many more. The holistic idea of the club is to make students learn skills in real under faculty guidance.
The HR club of JIMS has been developed for the holistic development & vivid understanding of HR roles & functions amongst management students. Besides nurturing students with HR specific skills commensurate with managing people effectively, it also venture to develop IPS (Interpersonal Skills) and managerial effectiveness with leadership attributes and other basic foundation facilitating seamless metamorphosis of an effective professional to hit into corporate diverse life. We believe “Technology and machines can be managed with tools, but for managing human resource you need passion with commitment”.
At JIMS, the welfare of student is always a high priority and student wellbeing is supported by effective Teaching - Learning process. The students achievement are celebrated in the school and community life provides welfare composition which is required for ECSAP (emotional, cultural, social, academic, physical) needs of the students. Student participation is encouraged in a various welfare programs for overall development to become value based ethical and highly qualified professional.
